Hmm... I was wary of this one for a while. In fact i'll admit I was a little disappointed when I first downloaded it. It's really quite different from the usual blend of classical inspired ambient post-rock we've come to expect from our favourite Icelanders. With its jumpy guitars and pounding drums, it resembles the discordant nature of a typical Radiohead track but y'know... if they had drunk a bucket of coffee and frolicked naked in the woods. Dig a little deeper and its a rather good song. Its definitely a grower and if taken as an ode to innocence (see the very naked video on the OHP) its even quite uplifting. Hopefully a short, sweet sign of what to expect from the new album. Nice.
